Unravel the Mystery of You…
Posted by: | CommentsKabbalah is not a religion, it’s the actual laws of the Universe. The law of Cause & Effect, Action & Reaction. Since I started studying Kabbalah over 10 years ago, I’ve seen many changes and blessings in my life. It’s a basic responsibility we have for ourselves and each other.
We all have questioned things like, why can’t I find the one, why can’t I find a good job, why can’t I make more money? Every day life where we feel like things are just not fair. I know we can also look back on our challenges and say to ourselves, you know, if I didn’t go through that, I wouldn’t be where I’m at NOW. Although the challenges can be heart-breaking, there is always a reason. There are no coincidences.

Posted by: | CommentsMy bus ride to work this morning was something else. Public Transportation definitely opens your eyes. Reality will hit you right in the face. It also gives you the opportunity to count your blessings, and contribute to a cleaner environment for the future of this nation. Okay, back to the bus ride. It was pretty crowded this morning and I was standing next to an older gentlemen, I’d say mid 40′s. The bus driver stopped abruptly and I lost my grip on the handle and was pushed forward. I barely touched the guy, said excuse me, but he slammed his hand on the bar and gave me the dirtiest look. I thought to myself; what have we become? Why are we so angry? We’re all here on this earth playing the same game; we’re all on the same team. So, this song by Eddie Vedder explains it all. I find myself at a place where I could simply pick up and go. I’ve always been a sort of loner, and quite happy with it. I’ve worked since the age of 16, and could definitely use a sabbatical. I’m going on vacation to Arizona next month and I’m looking forward to driving through the desert. It will give me a chance to soak it all in and be in an open space with just my thoughts, journal and my new Cam Corder. I’ll be posting a video of the trip on Youtube and post the link here.PS: I think it’s bull shit that Eddie wasn’t nominated for an Oscar for Guaranteed, the title song from Into the Wild. Rip Off!Society[youtube=httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uik8nDm9FLI]Oh, it’s a mystery to me, we have a greed with which we have agreed. And you think you have to want more than you need. Until you have it all you won’t be free.Society, you’re a crazy breed. Hope you’re not lonely without me…When you want more than you have, you think you need. And when you think more than you want, your thoughts begin to bleedI think I need to find a bigger place, because when you have more than you think, you need more space.Society, you’re a crazy breed. Hope you’re not lonely without me.Society, crazy indeed. Hope you’re not lonely without me…There’s those thinking, more-or-less, less is more. But if less is more, how you keeping score?Means for every point you make, your level drops.Kinda like you’re starting from the top. You can’t do that…Society, you’re a crazy breed. Hope you’re not lonely without me…Society, crazy indeed. Hope you’re not lonely without me…Society, have mercy on me. Hope you’re not angry if I disagree…Society, crazy indeed. Hope you’re not lonely without me…
February 27..A Day to Remember
Posted by: | CommentsToday marks the 4 year anniversary of my brother’s passing. It’s been an amazing 4 years in so many ways. His death to me was a sacrifice. Although he made the decision to leave us, it pushed me forward, fast. I’ve discovered Pilates and have been trained as a teacher. I’ll soon be able to take a group of people and watch them transform; mind and body.
Work has been going well. It’s funny, I’ve always been one to seek change, but working in the eMedia field has created a passion to create my own website and network with other people seeking to make a difference. Over my 16 year career in Sales & Marketing, I’ve learned that we can create ourselves as a brand. What you wear, what you say and how you present yourself on a day to day basis. If you can sell yourself as a brand, anything is possible.
I miss my brother deeply, but I know he found peace. Catholicism says he won’t find peace since he made a choice to leave us. I think it’s BS. I come from a strict religious background. My father is an independent, fundamentalist baptist minister. He stands behind his pulpit and preaches hell fire and brimstone. I’ve come to realize that religion is contagious. A disease. I understand the dire need of this country to find salvation, but if we could all simply look inside and listen, the answers are there. Kabbalah has brought a peace to my life, and the beautiful part is it’s not a religion, far from it. It’s a fundamental truth; the law of cause & effect.
I’ve made the decision to be all I can be and embrace this life. To learn more and take the challenges that lay before me and understand they are here to reveal answers and make us a better version.
Enjoy your life, make it yours. Sell yourself as a brand.
