Alyssa Growing Up
Posted by: | CommentsMy niece is so cute. I need to go see her soon before I miss all the fun! I’m sure my mom is having a great time with the new girl in the family. She does have the Webb nose and chin. Lord knows I have the shnoze!
I need to make it a point to go see my family more. I don’t want to get to a place where I regret not maintaining our relationship. You know how that goes, we all get so busy and we forget about family. And some of us have more family drama than we’d like, but it’s important to keep our family close, because when you lose one, there’s no pressing rewind to make up for lost time.

The Road to Munkin’s…
Posted by: | CommentsI’ve walked to Susan’s new dig’s twice now, and the first time I noticed how beautiful the journey was to her place, so the second walk over there, I decided to bring my Camera. It’s such a beautiful walk, and I’m so stoked to have my BF just a 15 minute walk away. It’s especially good for those “in case of emergency” moments. 
I still can’t get over how far along Detroit Shoreway has come. Alternative Press used to be in the Gordon Square Arcade building, for what was it, 8 years? Topher, you can help confirm this. But looking back then to now, wow. New restaurants (Luxe & Stone Mad, to name a few), rehabbed deco buildings, and the new Capital Theater, which is in the old AP building; it opens February 2009. I can’t wait to walk to see films! I’m so glad to call DS home.

Time for some action…
Posted by: | CommentsThis new NERD CD rocks the bass! There’s one song I love, Spaz (hit play on Xianbox). Talk about some beats that will bounce your ears. It’s the bass guitar that I can’t get enough of. I used to have a Fender Bass guitar, and my favorite thing to do was slapin’ the strings – you’ll hear a lot of this on their CD. Hot!

It still feels like the first time..
Posted by: | CommentsFinally, the last two nights I’ve been able to catch up with Angel! He got back from NYC on Wednesday. I didn’t know they had offices in NYC, San Francisco and London. This is so new to me; he’s my first playmate that has a good job, and one that requires complete dedication.
I’m in complete awe, and he’s beginning to understand the workings of xianaaron. We went to our favorite place to eat again, Min Anh’s, and I was eating my fav dish now, Chicken Curry. So, he says, Christian, I know how you work, you want to take care of everything in your life -NOW, but you have to take care of yourself, so eat more! HA HA. I did explain my discipline with working out and what I decide to eat and how much. I like to go by the Buddha’s rule of thought when it comes to eating; each serving should fit in the palm of your hand. At least I have take-out living this way. But he has no issues with my body, which is another new experience in itself. He watches out for me, so cool. I won’t forget when he said to me the other night; nobody’s going to BEEP with you anymore, Christian. Wow, watch out! 
It’s been about 2 months, but each time I see him the butterflies start. This is all brand new to me, and I’m so glad I didn’t settle! I would’ve stayed single another 3 years, to wait for my Angel to walk through my door. We all deserve to be happy and swept off our feet.
